Mrs. Gassett
Hannah Gassett began dancing at the age of three at a studio near her hometown of Friendswood, TX, where she learned all forms of dance. Her strong affinity for ballet led to her training at the Houston Ballet Academy. She trained across the country with Joffrey Ballet, Ballet Austin, Royal Academy of Fine Arts, and Steps on Broadway.
In high school, she was a member of the nationally acclaimed drill team, the Friendswood Wranglerettes. In college, she continued her dance training at Stephen F. Austin State University dancing for their Pom Squad. Mrs. Gassett was the first SFA Pom Squad member to complete four years on the team. During her four years on the Pom Squad, they won a National Championship at NDA Collegiate Nationals. Mrs. Gassett was awarded the title of Collegiate All-American and was captain her last year on the team. She received her Bachelor of Science in both Dance and English from SFA.
She has choreographed numerous award winning dances and has worked with several drill/dance teams and studios in the Dallas and Houston area. Dance has always been a major part of Mrs. Gassett’s life, but none of it would have been possible without the love, encouragement, and support of family, friends, her incredible husband Daniel, and their two children, Charlotte and Jackson.
Mrs. Gassett is thrilled to continue her lifelong passion by sharing her love for dance and drill team with her students. She is excited to be an integral part of the dance program at Grand Oaks High School and can’t wait to watch her students flourish while establishing a tradition of

Assistant Director :
Mrs. Prather
Kathryn Prather began dancing at the age of three at a studio in Katy, Texas, where she learned all styles of dance. In high school, Mrs. Prather was a member of the award winning Crimson Cavalttes at Tompkins High School where she served as Junior Lieutenant and Captain.
After graduating high school, Mrs. Prather went to Baylor University. She continued her passion for dance as a member of Baylor’s dance team, the Baylor Songleaders. During her time on the team, the Songleaders won national championships in the Pom and Jazz categories at Dance Team Union. She received her degree in Marketing and is certified to teach both Dance and P.E..
Mrs. Prather has also been a member of Crowd Pleasers Dance staff since 2017. During her time at CP, she has taught and choreographed for high school dance teams across the state of Texas. Mrs. Prather is thankful for the love and support of her family, friends, and husband Jake Prather.
Mrs. Prather is excited to continue her career as a dance educator. Sharing her passion for dance and drill team with her students is a dream come true!
